we had so much fun during spencers spring break. about a week before he got out, my parents came for a visit. it was great to have them here! we went down to utah to see my uncle and my cousins. it was SO much fun! spencer and i got to experience 4 wheeling for the first time and we cant stop talking about it! neither can my dad, i think hes dreaming about it every night. i'm pretty sure my dads going to be here in a couple weeks to got 4 wheeling again. well anyway, when they left adyson and i went with then, because spencer had a couple more days of finals before he could leave, and i wanted him to have some time by himself so he could study in peace. lol
well spencer finally came the friday before easter and it was great! adyson and i missed him so much! well easter.....it was adysons first one and i'm pretty sure she LOVED it. heres a picture of her and the easter bunny!
adyson really liked sitting with the bunny, but you kinda cant tell in this picture. we had tons of fun on easter! on saturday we dyed eggs and that night my parents had a glow in the dark easter egg hunt for the adults and went crazy with the gifts! we loved everything! thanks! the day after we had breakfast with spencer fam and adyson got her cute little tin purse, a dress and books from grandma and grandpa king. we also went to church with them to a wonderful meeting, well the parts we got to hear, adyson was making up her own mind about what she wanted to do then! lol after that my parents had the little kids hunt in the house do to the rain, but it was really fun, adyson even found 2 eggs with daddys help. adyson got a cute dress, a stuffed animal cow and nightgowns from grandma and grandpa rodeback. i dont have ANY easter pics yet, my mom has them all and i need to get them from her.
well the monday after easter, we found out my grandparents were coming into town! so of course i got a picture with the great grandparents! she LOVED being with them, she was laughing with my grandma the first second she saw her.
well on the way home, we decided to take the longer way, so adyson and i could meet spencers grandma. adyson had a great time with her great grandma too! the sad thing about the trip, was that we forgot to take a picture! that just means another trip to boise!
well now....my little family has been hit was a nasty cold. adyson was already a little sick during the trip, but about friday morning it started to get worse. its so sad, her cries are mostly silent. but the good thing is, she can smile through the cold. she laughs, but no sound!... it started with just her and now, all 3 of us are sick, coughing, stuffy and runny noses, fevers, yeah...not fun and spencer starts schools tomorrow....looks like the doctor is going to see all of us tomorrow.
so....adyson is 5 months old today.....and she still hasnt rolled, or sat up on her own. its kinds makes me sad to see other babys sitting strong, but i know adyson will do it in her own time. she has a really strong back and could hold her head up since she was like a day old, but i guess i could make her do tummy time more...but she hates it. i'm trying to get her to like it, i do my own "tummy time" with her, i put a whole bunch of toys around, i get a mirror so she can play with her "friend" aka herself, its really cute. its working so far....there is one thing shes learned and i dont quite know if its good or bad or just plain cute.........

so spencer taught her this, i know because i was always around when he put her feet to her face and he always showed her and played this little piggie with her. shes been getting really good at grabbing things and when i put her on her back she has her legs in the air up above her and its the first thing she grabs for. she spits out the pacifire and goes for the toes. its cute, but i dont really want her to get used to sucking on her fingers and toes becasue well....you can take a pacifire away, but you can't exactly take fingers and toes away...well you can, but its kinda permenent... i'm still pulling her hands and feet away from her mouth, but sometimes, its just no use when she can take the pacifire out herself and take off her sock to get to the toes...
it is really cute when she finds her feet, and actually its helping her to kinda learn to roll on her stomach, she flops on her side when she gets her feet and once she actually rolled over.....well onto her arm and then started crying, but atleast she rolled!!!! progress right?!?! lol
so i'm way happy....my parents are coming this weekend! i am so so so SO excited! adyson is too!
and i got a new laptop! for a sweet deal too! so my old laptop was dying...the speakers worked half the time, the clock stopped working, there was no battery, a small chunck of the cover was missing....i could go on....anyway, we have been looking at some for spencer and i since we were getting a really fat tax return. well spencer needed one more then me because of school so he got one first and i was just going to wait until mine crapped out and just buy a external hard drive. well, spencer felt really bad that he got a brand new laptop, so he was searching craigslist for a nice inexpensive one. so....he found a guy in idaho falls that was selling one. so spencer was talking to the guy about deals and everything. so the final deal was his laptop for my craptacular one and $250. so yesterday night spencer went to idaho falls and got it. turns out the guy is a member and he had gotten about 16 offers (most likely way better then ours), but felt like he sould take ours. what a great guy! so my laptop is about 6 months old, the guy won it and he already had a new one! so this great little gem is an HP, 13.5 (maybe 14, i really don't know) inch, built in webcam, with get this.... not vista or xp...but a new program they are testing out...its called windows 7. its ok...never really heard about it, it might not even be a new program just something no one has heard of, but its kinda like vista. anyway....i love my new laptop and i'm trying to figure it out. its pretty awesome that i got a new laptop for pretty much $250!! thanks spencer for getting me this!
