i have been thinking about this a lot and know i think i will actually write it down...

i just have to say that i am very thankful for my friends! i know that i'm bad at keeping in touch, but stalking you on facebook kinda counts doesn't it? lol j/k. anyway, i just wanted to say that i am very greatful for you all and i'm so proud of all the things going on in you lives....

lately adyson has been attacking her bumbo, well really, shes been attacking her bumbo, hands, pretty much anything you put infront of her she'll take and put it in her mouth. and you really can't do anything to get her to stop, oh we try, but she always seems to find a way to get it. even if she has her pacifire in her mouth, she'll take it out, and i mean it when i say she'll take it out, she knows how to grab it out and put it back in,well as cordinated as a 4 and a half month old can be. today she even took it our and chucked it to the ground. oh how shes growing. shes also "voicing" her opinion. oh my little diva!

yesterday she also had her first taste of baby rice cereal....i have a video of that and it is so funny....

well thats about all for now...um the other day i painted her toes! they are so cute and match mine! she loves to look at her feet and play with them so i thought she would love them painted. its so cute!!

so the second part of this blog is about our trip HOME! it was so much fun! sorry but i don't have the pics i took on my comp yet, but please keep reading) so we had so much fun and i esp loved it at home! i got to meet my new niece kamaile and be at her blessing and i also spend some time with kalei. they are the best and so cute! spencers brother christopher got home the same weekend and that was exciting he gave a wonderful talk. i also went to kaleis awesome price is right party. i was a contestant and won some expensive clothes to get on "stage" but bombed getting an african safari. i got the pictures i've been dying to get too! ones with adyson and her grandma and grandpa rodeback and one of adyson and her cousins kalei and kamaile. i just need to get then developed! anyway, thats the fun we had this last weekend....oh and spencer had his birthday (kalei too) on the 9th! he turned the big 23! i love you babe! one year older and better looking too! lol anyway, i'll spare my readers from more mushy stuff! until next blog!

Home is where your heart is.

Its sad. I never thought that i would miss being in Moses Lake,  but after being in Rexburg for a few months, home seems like a Desert Oasis.

Amber is quiet excited to go home and see our niece Kamaile,  who will be blessed this coming weekend. For me, I'm excited because my little brother Christopher is coming home from his mission in Washington DC south. I haven't seen him in almost 4 years. He was a junior in high school when i left. Wow.  

So much has changed in the years gone by. I served my mission, returned, got married, had a kid and went to school. For him, he went to school, graduated from high school and college with a 2 year degree, went to byu for a year and then went on his mission. where has the time gone?

I'm very excited to see both Kamaile and Christopher, but more importantly, I'm excited that everyone in my current family can be together. this is going to be a Hectic weekend.

the day of LOVE

well here it is, the valentines day post (a couple days late!). i LOVE valentines day! its probably my favorite holiday!

well for the day of love spencer and i tried to catch some extra shut eye being it saturday and all...which didn't work because adyson is an early bird. she woke us up at the good ole hour of 7 am, as usual. and as usual smiling as she woke up. shes SO happy! (i don't think she got the happy morning personality trait from her mommy). well since she was way happy i decided to give her the v-day gift i got her about a month ago and the other gift she got from grandma and grandpa rodeback. so, in my fam we get gifts for pretty much EVERY holiday and i wanted to carry that on in mine. its so much fun!

she got a giraffe from spencer the day before, a pink dog and a long sleeve onesie from me that says i'm gunna be a hottie and a cute outfit from gpa and gma rodeback. we also exchanged cards that morning too, which were very cute and i need to get a pic of them some time. oh....so my gift to spencer was some clothes and spencer got me some yummy chocolate. we also got new batteries for our laptops!


anyway...after we went back to bed for a little bit, we got up and went to applebees for lunch! (thanks mom and dad for the giftcard!) it was so good. later on we went and got some ice cream and rootbeer to make what else but rootbeer floats! that night we made the traditional valentines day cookies (have pics but they aren't on my comp) and watched movies! it was great! well thats the excitement of our valentines day! thanks to everyone who got us cards and gifts(thanks mom and dad, laska, and cathy and darrell)! we loved them! hope you had a wonderful valentines day!

so its been a little bit since i've posted so heres some of whats been happening...

spencer got a scholarship!!!!! so....like almost all couple here at BYU-I or any other college....we're poor, and i've been stressing like i always do when its never needed. anyway, this just made my fears and stress go away! it helps so much and just shows how blessed we are. It just lets us know that we are not forgotten and that if you strive to live the gospel and strive to do the simple things we are asked to do like pay tithing even when money is in limited supply, blessing will come. Just have faith!

yesterday we took adyson outside for the 1st time! well ok let me clear things up. shes been outside before, but always in her carseat. yesterday it was warm enough (50 degrees!) where i wasn't paranoid to take her out. I made spencer put her in a coat, shoes, the works. She loved it. We walked to the mailbox and back. the sun was a little bright for her, but she loved looking around and seeing the outside world.I even put some snow on her hand! Ady and i went out again today to get the mail again. She loved the walk and cried when we came back in! don't worry mom, we did get a picture of her first time out, i think the people we asked to take the pic were looking at us a little weird. lol

um tonight spencer and i went and watched some moses lake friends play on a dodgeball team (yep, they have dodgeball leauge) . they didn't have enough players (well they did but they were late and one min past 7 is late and you have for forfit, very strict) anyway, the teams decided to play for fun and spencer joined in. he had a lot of fun and they might put him on the team! hes excited. yeah i know a dodgeball team??? but hey it gives us something to do. it was the first time we've gone to campus together for something! and we can actually take adyson with us! i kinda want to play too, but can't....i'm kinda not a student here anymore because its been so long...my i-card still says rodeback!

well thats about it. not too much excitement in our lives. adyson is growing before our eyes! she smiles all the time and loves to watch tv! shes cooing so much and is just starting to get a laugh. she laughs now, but theres kinda no sound, just a fake caugh. oh! spencer and i have started a workout dvd! its the 30 day shred by jillian off of biggest loser! you can loose around 20 lbs in 30 days! we started a week ago....spencer has lost about ten pounds and i've lost about 7. its hard but so worth it! its only 20 minutes but kicks your butt! thanks stephanie for the blog you posted about it! its a good dvd!
