November

November brought birthdays, football, and thanksgiving.
First off was me! I turned 28 on the first. It was low key, dinner and cake and ice cream with family.
Next up Adyson! (Separate post for her!)
So Spencer's work has the opportunity to go to Seahawks games. He gets to sit in the press box, go into the locker room after the game and go to the news conference after. How crazy awesome is that!?!? He has so much fun.
For thanksgiving this year we went to Wenatchee to spend it at Laskas house. It was yummy food and lots of fun. We also hit up some black friday sales too.

Adyson's birthday

My first born had a birthday! Adyson. Turned 7 years old! I can't believe it. She is so smart and sweet. Taryn thinks she is her second mom. She even calls her mommy. Adyson is always trying to make people happy. She does have her sassy and stubborn moments but who doesn't?! (Especially with us as parents ;) We love the sweetness (and sass) she bring to out lives.
For her bday we had family come over on her bday and help celebrate. The theme was her favorite animal ever, Panda! We had cake and ice cream and she opened gifts.... and then we had to kick everyone out :(. Taryn got really pale, hot, and shaky. It was crazy so we had to run her to the wall in clinic. It turned out to be pnemonia. I felt bad for cutting Adyson's bday short but she didn't mind. She got to spend the night at gma and gpas house!
The weekend following her bday she had a friends party. She watched kungfu panda and had lots of movie snacks. After she opened presents and had cake. She had a lot of fun.
I made some panda cupcakes for her parties and to take to school. It was a lot of hard work and one batch I made all the faces "melted" off but they eventually turned out.

October

October is always a busy month for us especially the weekends!
Adyson was able to go on TWO field trips with her class. The first one was to the fairground for farm day. She was able to pet animals, learn about farming, and even plant a seed to grow at home. She loved the planting part. The other one was to a pumpkin patch I'm Othello to pick out her own pumpkin. I wasn't able to go to either of them but she had a lot of fun.
Adyson also had spirit week at school. We had a lot of fun finding outfits!

We also took Rodeback family pictures. I loved how they turned out.

We were able to go to a new pumpkin patch this year. One in Othello (which Adyson went to a week later!) It was a lot of fun. There was a corn maze, corn pit and tractor ride. All the kids loved the pit. They are so much fun. I used to go to a shed with friends in high school. So much fun. We of course picked out our pumpkins and had a great time at the patch.

Next up was the carving party. This year's theme, decades. I ordered a dress from online but it never came so I made do with what I had in my closet. (should have looked at reviews!) I attempted the 40s decade - my fav- I had a victory curl and even the wing/cat eye eyeliner. Spencer went as his favorite... Marty McFly/80s. He loves Back to the Future (it was also the 30th anniversary of the movie too so he was super excited). The girls went as 50s in poodle skirts.

Halloween was last for this month. We went to the trunk or treat at Adyson's school and the one at the church. It was a rainy night so Spencer and Taryn stayed home while I took the other two around the neighborhood.

and somewhere in the month Adyson's soccer season ended

September

September brought school and soccer season. This time around it was Adyson's turn. She of course is coached by Auntie Crystal and Uncle Josh. The 2nd day of Sept was the first day of first grade for Adyson. She loves school and does so well. She loves her new teacher, Mrs. Cox. We didn't do a whole lot this month. Which is nice! No dance this time around. It's actually kind of nice. Not running across town to classes and definitely great on the bank account!

August

Let's see what did we do in August... the first part of the month was kind of slow for us, which let us prepare for the 2nd half! First we went to Silverwood. It was the girls first time. Silverwood gives our free tickets to kids who read 10 hours. The girls couldn't do too much, especially Taryn. She only rode the carousel. I was so excited that Adyson was tall enough for the big rides! I took her on her first big scary coaster, Tremors! She was so nervous. She screamed a lot. The first big fall/dip I swear she passed out. It was kind of scary. It was one of the best memories/ scarest things I've done with her. It was a fun time. Spencer took Harper and Adyson on the log ride and they loved it.

Right after silverwood we had the grant county fair. That brought on performing with their dance company, petting animals, getting the free goodies from the commercial building, and eating.... lots of eating. We also celebrated Cathys birthday this week.

Also this month Taryn started walking!!!!! yay! (no pics only a video)
Now it's time to get ready for school in September!!

July

July was another packed month for us. Started it off with 4th of July...
We went to Ephrata for the Basin Summer Sounds. We didn't know they had water slide, but I didnt want the girls to miss out. So they went in their clothes! Harper was too scared to go down the small one so we kind of had Adyson push her down!

Then my dad and Kazen's birthday. no pictures sorry!

Swim lessions were this month too! Harpers first time, Adyson's second. Neither of them passed. I thought Adyson did really well compared to last year, but oh well. Harper... well there was no way she was passing. It took her FOREVER to jump into the pool. Her instructor was a boy that i knew from 10th ward when he was about Harper's age!!! He was awesome with the kids! I feel old though. Even through they didn't pass they had a fun time.

Then the Rodeback Reunion out at my Aunt Elaine's house! There was a lot of water involved because it was HOT. We had a lot of yummy food, swam at Allred's pond and corn feed, had a talent show, waterslide, hayride, and of course the candy toss with Grandpa. Poor Harper got stung TWICE by bees at the water slide. At least we found out shes not allergic!

Then it was Taryn's 1st birthday!!!! (separate post just for her!)

And after that the girls had a dance recital!

Also this month I had a specialist visit. Not for my rheumatoid arthritis (which I don't know if I have ever posted on here, surprise I have arthritis!). I have started to notice lumps around my throat since December and finally went in to get it checked last month. They did ultrasounds, and figured they needed a needle biopsy just to rule out cancer. It was the worst. they numbed my neck and then took a long needle and shoved it in my neck for 2 min at a time, and I COULD NOT SWALLOW! Really!? The lumps are in between my vein and throat so one wrong move and it could have been bad. So after that not so pleasant hour and a half (btw- got results back not cancer just random lumps) I was done and went to one of my cousins wedding receptions and saw a lot of my family there. It was a beautiful reception and I wish Zach and Katie all the best. The photographer was awesome!
