Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving we did the usual dinners at the parents house. Good food, good company! We also decided to take family pictures for our Christmas cards.(thanks mom and dad) Here are our favorites. Sorry, I'm not very good at editing so these are the unedited version (and i dont have the originals so these are from shutterfly). Spencer has all the edited ones on his computer.

A couple of days after thanksgiving the girls had their 18m and 4yr check ups. I dont have the paper on me, but they are both in the 50% and if I remember right Adyson is 32 lbs and Harper is 23lbs and adyson is 3' something. i'm horrible! It was also shots time! So through the whole appointment they girls were awesome! Adyson always is but the last couple times Harper HATED everything to do with it. Not this time. So for the shots Adyson was first....she got 5 shots and didn't even cry! Only a little whimper at the end. The nurses haven't seen any kid be that cool with it. yeah my girls awesome! Harper was next and she got one little shot and did the crying for Adyson. lol

Adyson turns 4!

Cant believe it!!!! Adyson is 4! We were lucky this year to have her birthday on a saturday, nov 10th. We had it at our place and decorated it Tangled theme. I made her a wig and it took FOREVER, but it was worth it! She is so awesome!

 some of the gifts. in all she got...a baby pram (carraige), big mereda doll, clothes, barbie clothes, barbie flynn ryder and rapunzel, pocahontas and tinkerbell dvds, phineas and ferb theme things, squinkies, and a necklace holder. if i've forgotten anything, sorry, but she does love everything she got!

Adyson We love you so much!I cant believe its been four years already!!! You are sassy and sweet and are such a great girl. you always want to make me happy and always remind me to be happy and have fun! You make days better. You do have your "moments" but what little girl doesnt!? Thank you for being sweet and a wonderful sister to Harper. I know she loves you a lot! So do mommy and daddy! Hope you had a great bday!

Im 25!

It happened. I turned 25 on the 1st of November!

 my parents took me to my bday dinner at Eddies (an asian food)

 While we were at dinner, Spencer had his mom sneak over to the house to decorate!

so for my bday I got some amazing things! a sewing machine, dinner, flowers, clothes, girftcard, a cute turtle figurine, a brita, and lots of well wishes. thank you all! it was one of the best bday!

Halloween 2012

This year was kind of low key. I was getting stressed out with how many houses I would have to go to, but in the end, it turned out to be just 2 places I would have to go! Perfect!

This year, Spencer and I were pb&j. Didn't go too crazy this year. Adyson wanted to be tinkerbell and so Harper was just Belle. We took pictures at a local studio, and I will try to post them soon, if I can.

 We went to the trunk or treat with Gma King and Caro (her exchange student) at the church and the girls cleaned up! (gma king bought the bags! so cute!thanks)

Aren't they so cute!!! The Monday after Halloween a dentist has a candy buy back/donate to troops over seas, so we sorted though the candy, kept some, and Adyson and Harper made $6! ($2 per lbs). 

Pumpkin Carving Party!

Well, we did it again! We had the annual Rodeback/Bruce/King pumpkin carving party! It was a lot of fun! We had some really good soups, and some really yummy desserts! Adyson and Harper loved digging the guts out of their pumpkins. There was a cookie decorating station for the kids that were waiting to carve/done carving that my mother in law set up and it helped a lot! The pumpkins we got the girls were so thick and the skin was hard! I was going to let Adyson actually carve hers but i barely got through carving the top part! So their designs were really bad! Harper has a spider and Adyson has a butterfly

Preschool Halloween Party

Last Wednesday (24) we had a party for the preschool kids. I didnt post too many pics, I didnt know how the moms would feel, but the girls had lots of fun! They made skeletons, colored a book, made spider webs, did a cake walk, pumpkin bowling, and had some really good snacks! It was a lot of fun and the girls looked so cute in their costumes!
