September happenings

Well, not too much has been going on here in the King House.
Spencer is still working at the paper, doing what he does best, making ads and working with the website. He is such a pro! He just recently looked at his BYU-Idaho email and it no longer said student. Kinda hit him a little bit, hes done! I mean he got his diploma, but we are usually home around this time for his off track, still doesn't seem real yet. Maybe in January when we would have headed back to ID.

Adyson started up a preschool (joy school-moms take turn teaching) with her cousin Kamaile and a few girls from around town. She goes once a week and loves it! Especially since she can go with Kamaile. Adyson is so smart! She pics up on everything. She loves to dance, sing, go to primary, and cook. As you can see in the picture above, her favorite toy is still Grandpa bear. Her birthday is coming up fast, and she has (for now) decided on butterflies, but she is wanting to change it to tinker bell. we shall see! Can't believe she is going to be 4 soon!
(i love how Kamaile is posing for the camera, like she does for her dance class im guessing)
Harper is just as cute and crazy as ever. These pictures are infront of the door because she saw Adyson and Kamaile take pics there, so she walked up, stood there and said "eese!" (cheese) Harper is 16 months old! I'm pretty sure I forgot to mention this, but she had her well child check at 15 months and she is 19.1 lbs, 29.25 in tall. Shes a small kid, but dont let her size fool you! She loves to dance and talk all the time. She loves to sing too and her favorite song is We Are Young by FUN. The whole fam loves their music so its fine that we may hear that song atleast 3 times a day! The only problem we have had with harper is that she falls....a lot! within a week she bit/smacked/made her lip bleed 5 times!!! the other day she smashed her finger with a chair. oh i hope she grows out of it! Harpers favorite toy is a stuffed tiger called, well Tiger. she has to have it to got to bed at night.
^in this pic.... Spencer has taught the girls a little saying. "Best friends for ever, YEAH" and they put their hand in the air. The girls love it! he taught it to them in Portuguese too but I have no clue how to spell it,

And as for me... well i have one of these beauties on my right foot.....

Swede-O Short Walking Cast Boot

Short version- started in april, 5 docs later, i have a 3cm tear, and some other things going on like tendinitis. hoping scar tissue will heal the tear so i wont have to have surgery

Long Version -Back in April my foot started to swell up really bad and i could hardly walk on it. I waited to see a doc hoping would go away, but it didnt so I went in June to a doc. He thought it was just some swelling, ordered tests done to make sure it wasn't arthritis a blood clot or broken bone, and gave me a compression sock to get the swelling gone and some meds. It still hurt really bad after all that and my back and knee were starting to hurt, so in July I went back, but to a different doc.  He thought plantar fasciitis, upped the dose on my meds, and gave me excersises to get rid of it. a week later they called and asked if i wanted to do a steroid treatment (get the swelling down/gone), so i said yes, and when I started that i noticed this huge red bruise on the side of my foot. I called in and asked about it and the doc brushed it off as nothing. After I ended the steroid treatment, it started to swell again and hurt. My bro in law, a physical therapist, took a look when we came back to WA for the 4th, and thought i might have a tear. Well after we moved back I went and saw my old doctor and she said right away that it was not plantar whatever and ordered more xrays and an MRI for my foot. She said there was a 3cm tear (where the bruise is!) and set up an appointment with a specialist on Sept 5th. well i tell you the date because it was 3ish week of waiting and hurting! yep it was that long of a wait to see him! Well, the appointment finally came, and the specialist was kind of stumped. My foot hurts all over, so he couldn't exactly pin point it. The mri did reveal the tear, but it was so swollen that he couldn't really see anything else. SOOOOO..... after he examined my foot twice, he put me in that lovely boot for 7 weeks to get my foot to "calm down" aka get the swelling down and to get scar tissue to heal the tear so i wont have to have surgery. few! that was a long story. and folks, its been about 2 weeks. Oct 24th looks SO far away! I am praying it heals on its own!!!!

ok i'm done with the update. retelling that story makes me hurt. lol
