Christmas 2012

I did a horrible job with pictures on christmas this year! i know other family members took some so i will  be stealing them. This year was our first time with our own tree! can you believe it! So bright and early on Christmas we got up and had our own present to open under our own tree! YES! The girls were a little sleepy, but were excited. Santa brought the camera Adyson asked for and brought them both a baby doll pack in play. Yay, no more diapers box. After that we headed to the Kings house for more presents and breakfast! We then headed to my parents house so the girls could nap, and after we had Linner (lunch/dinner) and presents! It was an awesome day! Awesome gifts too!!! Well, later that night Spencer went with his fam to the movies and i stayed with the girls and found out that harper was sick.... the hard way. she almost puked on her new toy organizer! Well that started the next few days of... well ya know, for everyone else! NOT FUN!! but we are all ok now! on to new years!!!

This year was low key. We went to dinner at Michaels on the Lake and had some amazing food! Spencer surprised me with the necklace and earings you see here in the picture. I love them! I love him! Happy anniversary to us!

Coco Party/ Ward Party

Dec 7th- Growing up, my Grandma and Grandpa Rodeback would buy all the grand kids and ornament until they got married. (there are 37 of us, they had to cut us off sometime, lol) So my mom  now buys the ornaments for their grand kids. My mom calls is a cocoa party. They have hot chocolate, just my mom and I watch White Christmas because no one else will, she gives them ornaments, and we make cookies. the girls have a lot of fun. This year Adyson got Rapunzel and Harper got snowmen with a cat and a dog (becasue she loves to make the sounds) Harper was so funny opening hers. She saw it, drew in a very exaggerated breath and said LOOK!!!! shes so weird! lol

Dec 8th - Our ward had a Christmas breakfast and the primary kids read the nativity story, sang songs and the junior primary dressed up as the characters. Adyson was the star. She was so happy!

Trim the tree

I couldnt help myself. The day after Thanksgiving i started decorating! This is our humble tree. Spencers sister Laska bought it for us when we first got married (5 yrs ago). we have never been able to use it until now. Its 4 feet tall! lol Adyson is almost as tall as it, so I put it on a table. It may be small, but its pretty! I wanted to get a real one, but looking at the one we have, i'm ok for now : ). memories!

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving we did the usual dinners at the parents house. Good food, good company! We also decided to take family pictures for our Christmas cards.(thanks mom and dad) Here are our favorites. Sorry, I'm not very good at editing so these are the unedited version (and i dont have the originals so these are from shutterfly). Spencer has all the edited ones on his computer.

A couple of days after thanksgiving the girls had their 18m and 4yr check ups. I dont have the paper on me, but they are both in the 50% and if I remember right Adyson is 32 lbs and Harper is 23lbs and adyson is 3' something. i'm horrible! It was also shots time! So through the whole appointment they girls were awesome! Adyson always is but the last couple times Harper HATED everything to do with it. Not this time. So for the shots Adyson was first....she got 5 shots and didn't even cry! Only a little whimper at the end. The nurses haven't seen any kid be that cool with it. yeah my girls awesome! Harper was next and she got one little shot and did the crying for Adyson. lol

Adyson turns 4!

Cant believe it!!!! Adyson is 4! We were lucky this year to have her birthday on a saturday, nov 10th. We had it at our place and decorated it Tangled theme. I made her a wig and it took FOREVER, but it was worth it! She is so awesome!

 some of the gifts. in all she got...a baby pram (carraige), big mereda doll, clothes, barbie clothes, barbie flynn ryder and rapunzel, pocahontas and tinkerbell dvds, phineas and ferb theme things, squinkies, and a necklace holder. if i've forgotten anything, sorry, but she does love everything she got!

Adyson We love you so much!I cant believe its been four years already!!! You are sassy and sweet and are such a great girl. you always want to make me happy and always remind me to be happy and have fun! You make days better. You do have your "moments" but what little girl doesnt!? Thank you for being sweet and a wonderful sister to Harper. I know she loves you a lot! So do mommy and daddy! Hope you had a great bday!

Im 25!

It happened. I turned 25 on the 1st of November!

 While we were at dinner, Spencer had his mom sneak over to the house to decorate!

so for my bday I got some amazing things! a sewing machine, dinner, flowers, clothes, girftcard, a cute turtle figurine, a brita, and lots of well wishes. thank you all! it was one of the best bday!
