Bearworld and Yellowstone

This weekend my parents came into town for harpers birthday so we decided to take in the local attractions!

first up, Bearworld. Its only 5 miles out of rexburg and it just happened to be a half off weekend

finally able to face forward and loving it

 right next to the gate when we got into the bear part

 i dont have the pics, my mom does, but we all got to pet a baby bear!

 this mini deer/elk thing loved harper and tried to eat her!

Next attraction was Yellowstone national park! its about an hour and a half away from rexburg

 wasnt too spectacular, i think we saw it at a low point. the girls were freezing and screaming so no fam pic. oh well.....

 when we were headed out the highlight of our trip happened. buffalo were running and walking right next to the road. like so close we could have stuck our hand out and touched them!

 we had the door open to the van to take pics. this is what it looked like. i dont think the pic did it justice.

 afterwards we stopped at one of my favorite little places to eat, the frostop in ashton, id. SO GOOD. if you ever go, get the malibu ckn burger with deep fried mushrooms instead of fries. you will not regret it.
