Rodeback Reunion

So I was crazy enough, that a day after I got out of the hospital after giving birth, that we went to my family reunion. It happened to be in Royal City so I wasn't too crazy!!!! It was so much fun! All the food was amazing! I could eat like that all the time. The decorations were so cute! Each day we would have family prayer and hear stories of our ancestors. We all had a blast. My fam decided that my Aunt Elaine should host it every year! ;)

The Reunion started July 31st with dinner at chicos! YUM

Aug 1st: It was very hot this day, so we just spent the majority of the day setting up for the fair and visiting. It was really cool. Everyone had booth, ring toss, photo, duck pond,store- my one aunt lives over in Saudi Arabia and she has traveled all over Europe and brought souvenirs back for people to buy, ... there were lawn games and even an exhibitor table where some family brought arts and crafts that they have done. My grandparents brought items from when they were babies. It was cool to see!

Taryn loved the heat while everyone else melted!
I cant remember the day, but we had a pie eating contest too.

Aug 2nd: This day was my actual due date. Thanks for coming early Taryn so we could go to this!
This day we went to Allred's pond and had a blast. I was going to skip this (I just had a baby and I thought it would be hot!), but it ended up being pretty fun to watch everyone swing off the rope swing.

67 people out of 97. So far at the beginning of next year we will be at 101!

We also got a chance to shoot some clay pigeons. I hit one!

So excited we did this! I have been wanting to do it for a while! We used my grandpas cattle brand and made these!

So tractor rides weren't supposed to be apart of the reunion, but while my cousin Thomas was moving a tractor he saw Harper and asked if she wanted a ride. That started it all. Every kid wanted a ride and of course the adults too so we had about 5 tractors running around with people in them! He had our own tractor derby!

Adyson's turn!
And what would a family gathering be without the candy toss! I love this picture. You can see how happy Grandpa is!
And before everyone left I got my four generations picture. I love/hate this picture! I love my family but hate myself! I know, I know, I just had a baby and that shirt doesn't help! Note to self: burn that shirt.

Well the reunion was awesome and can't wait for next year!
