Im back!

Since this is a very unique time in our lives I have had the thought to start blogging/journaling again....

A Lot has happened since I posted last!!! The world right now is shutting down because of Covid-19. No church gatherings (conference is boradcast only 😳), school closing for 6 weeks starting tuesday, people are buying out all the store of toilet paper 🤷‍♀️, washing your hands ALL THE TIME, its an interesting time! Right now lets focus on something positive and play catch up with the kids and our life!

Easton is 3. He is funny and always on the move. Hes starting to refuse naps with is not so great! He loves super mario, legos, hotwheels, sharks, pj masks, mickey mouse.... His favorite song is Me and My Gang by Rascal Flatts. He will sing is all day long on repeat! He isnt quite old enough for preschool or sports so we have some fun at home. He is learning to draw and color and its so fun to see his brain work hard to produce artwork. The beginning of this year he moved into primary and is a sunbeam! He is still learning to sit and be reverent but loves it. Im in the primary presidency so it makes it a little difficult for me to get him to sit and not come find me

Taryn is 5 and in kindergarten! She is loving it and loves Mrs. Tye. She works hard to write out sentences and spell words. She is getting really good at reading. Its still a lot of work but shes doing great! She is (was? It might get cancelled like everything else) in soccer with her cousin Kai and Uncle Josh is her coach. Taryn loves pigs. Its super cute. At fair time her #1 thing to do is go to see the pigs. This past fair a pig kept nudging her with its snout and she had the biggest smile on her face. Taryn also loves earring and has a huge collection. Taryn is full of drama and sass. I always say she could win an oscar. She is funny and loves to do silly dances.

Harper is 8 and in 3rd grade with Mrs. Shelton. Harper is full of love for all around her. She loves to make friends and talks to anyone. She has been missing her front tooth for over a year and a half and it FINALLY started to come in. Harper loves to snuggle and be around people. She has started piano and loves it. Harper has always been drawn to music. She has been able to memorize songs super quick. Im excited for her to keep this going. Last year Harper was baptized. It was a beautiful time. We showed up at the church and no one was there except the other girl from our ward and her family. The church was locked! I quickly called people to find out the stake baptisms were move to a different day and our primary wasn't informed! More people were called, missionaries showed up to unlock and fill the font. People quicky thought of talks and it worked out wonderfully. It was such a blessing that things worked out how they did.

Adyson is 11 and in 5th grade with Ms. Dyk. Adyson is out of primary and in young womens 😳. (About a year and a half ago (2?) The prophet changed the time kids get to move into young womens.) It is crazy to me that shes old enough! Im am excited for her though. I loved young womens! And im a little jealous she get to go to camp. Adyson was supposed to start softball but for now its postponed. She loves to draw and do anything arts and crafts. She loves to spend time with her best friends Asis, Nora, Ava, and Kamaile. A few months ago Adyson made a goal to buy roller blades. She finally made enough and bought a pair and some padding. She has been eager to learn and goes outside when its warm enough to practice. Adyson is helpful and loves to teach her younger siblings. She learded to sew and has made me quite a few pot holders and recently made her first quilt

Spencer is 34 and I'm 32. Spencer works for iFiber and gets to travel with them to different areas. His most recent trup was to Ohio. With this outbreak Spencer will be working from home for a little bit. He has bought a smoker and wants to make dinner on it all the time! Its his new hobby. He got into woodworking a little bit ago, but smoking food has taken over. He still makes a few stove top covers here and there. He also got into doing snow cones and walking waffles with his dad. They sell them at the farmers market and they are yummy! He recently celebrated his birthday and went to Back to the Future with the Spokane Symphony with Laska and Dustin. As for me, I have discovered a new hobby! I love to chalk and make signs and decor. I found an awesome company I signed up with and love it (just fyi im not trying to sell you anything! Its just what i love to do, besides taking care of my family 😊). In August Spencer is taking me to Backstreet Boys!!!! This past December Spencer and I celebrated 12 years together. We made a quick trip to Spokane and ate some sushi! Our favorite sushi place is Mizu in tri cities though!

Our family as a whole has grown and gone on many adventures. We made a week long trip to Rexburg, Manson, WA for a king famiky trip, went to Utah for Tristan and Anas wedding, drove to Gooding, Idaho for a family reunion, and lots of hockey games! 2.5 years ago we bought a bigger house..... directly accross from our old house!! Spencer brought home a puppy so now we have a 1.5 year old labahoula we named LaRue. She has a ton of energy and gets into everything, but shes so cute! This year we hope to go on a trip to Silverwood!
